1st Annual Harvest Festival at Ward Centers

See 20 amazing scarecrows created by students in the University of Hawaii-Manoa Apparel Product Design & Merchandising Program. Pick up a People’s Choice ballot and vote for your favorite. By voting, you could qualify to win Dinner for a Year at Ward and $150 Ward Centers Shopping Sprees. The Grand Prize, Dinner for 2 a Year is limited to onsite ballots. Vote online too at HonoluluAdvertiser.com/scarecrow. One Grand Prize winner and three Shopping Spree winners will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries.
Saturday, October 18, 10 am to 2 pm
Ward Warehouse Stage Area
Watch student teams as they race to finish their scarecrows by 12 noon. Then walk Scarecrow Row and enjoy free entertainment till 2 pm.
Scarecrows will be moved to 20 “host” Ward stores for display and voting through October 31. Top 5 student teams will win a total of $3,000 in scholarship awards!
